Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AWS Solution Architect to design and deliver scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining cloud architecture, guiding development teams, and ensuring best practices in security, performance, and cost optimization across cloud-based applications and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and resilient AWS-based solutions aligned with business and technical requirements
• Define cloud architecture patterns, standards, and best practices for application and infrastructure deployment
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams to implement cloud solutions
• Design and implement high-availability and disaster recovery architectures
• Provide guidance on cloud-native development, microservices architecture, and serverless solutions
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives from on-premise to AWS
• Ensure solutions comply with security, governance, and compliance standards
• Optimize cloud environments for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
• Support CI/CD implementation and automation strategies
• Participate in architecture reviews, technical decision-making, and solution documentation

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of overall IT experience with AWS architecture and cloud solutions
• Strong hands-on experience with core AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and EKS/ECS
• Experience designing cloud-native and microservices architectures
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and identity management in AWS
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work across teams

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
• Knowledge of multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
• Experience working in Agile environments
