Job Description
We are seeking an Application Programmer III to join our Enterprise Capital Management Technology team within Corporate Treasury. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data analysis, SQL, and enterprise programming and a proven ability to deliver techno-functional solutions that support regulatory capital, risk, and analytics outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data ingestion, rules authoring and execution, and analytics components for a greenfield treasury platform.
- Analyze complex capital and risk requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Implement and optimize SQL queries and data models on enterprise databases, preferably Oracle Exadata.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to replace legacy treasury applications and enable regulatory programs such as Basel IV and FRTB.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline. MBA is an advantage.
- 10+ years of experience with at least 3+ years as a data analyst in a delivery-focused techno-functional role.
- Strong SQL programming skills, preferably on Oracle Exadata.
- Programming experience with Python or Java/.NET. Hadoop experience is an advantage.
- Deep understanding of capital markets with focus on credit risk, market risk, or capital calculations.
- Knowledge of capital markets regulations such as Basel, CRR, and CRD IV.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and a self-starter approach.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of big data architectures and cloud computing.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques, classifiers, and statistical methods.
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
