Job Title: Senior Data Management Analyst
Contract Length: 6+ Months
Hybrid schedule 3 days per week onsite/ 2 remote

The Infrastructure team supporting Global Payments and Liquidity Analytics provides infrastructure support for strategic analytics, banker and customer communications analytics, and management reporting functions. The platform team partners with technology groups to ensure infrastructure, data acquisition, and value-added processing needs are met.

This position serves as a key liaison between infrastructure and communications analytics teams while developing a deep understanding of business processes, concepts, and data related to Global Payments and Liquidity products. The role focuses on business analysis, data analysis, infrastructure coordination, and project management activities.

Responsibilities


  • Develop a deep understanding of team-owned tools and databases.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the infrastructure team and technical and downstream business partner teams.
  • Manage data infrastructure projects by:

    • Creating business requirements documents.
    • Reviewing functional and technical documentation.
    • Communicating strategy and direction to management and technology teams.
    • Directing technology implementation efforts.

  • Lead discussions with subject matter experts and data product consumers regarding enhancement requests, issue resolution, and defect remediation.
  • Perform moderate to complex business and data analyses and assessments.
  • Manage the end-to-end data acquisition process, including coordination with business stakeholders, authorized data sources, and system-of-record partners.
  • Ensure adherence to data security and governance regulations, guidelines, and policies.

Required Qualifications


  • 7+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both.
  • 4+ years of experience writing moderate to complex SQL code in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, Hive, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience reviewing SQL code to assist with defect resolution.
  • Proven analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Global Payments and Liquidity products and services and Wholesale Banking.
  • Strong ability to learn business concepts, processes, and operational details quickly.
  • Experience consulting with and leading discussions among stakeholders to plan and execute solutions for complex business challenges.
  • Experience developing and managing relationships with business and technology partners.
  • Strong organizational and change management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments while managing multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
