Position: Senior Oracle HCM Architect

About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Senior Oracle HCM Architect to lead the technical architecture, design, and development of complex enterprise HR solutions. In this senior-level role, you will take independent ownership of our Oracle HCM technical landscape, driving critical technical solutions and connectivity between Oracle HCM and our broader enterprise cloud environments.
The ideal candidate is an expert technical professional who remains deeply hands-on with both development and architecture. You will provide critical technical leadership across multiple teams, resolve complex production escalations, and ensure our HR data flows seamlessly and securely across the enterprise.
Please note: This is a strictly senior-level position. Candidates with less than 16 years of overall IT experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Leadership: Lead the technical architecture, design, development, and implementation of complex Oracle HCM/HR solutions, with a strong focus on Core HR, Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC), and Talent Management. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development and support teams.
Enterprise Architecture & APIs: Design and develop real-time, API-based, event-driven, and batch integrations between Oracle HCM and enterprise/cloud applications. Architect scalable APIs to integrate HR data with payroll, benefits, finance, identity management, data platforms, and third-party applications.
Oracle Development & Reporting: Develop advanced reporting and analytics solutions using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and BI Publisher. Write Fast Formulas, SQL, and PL/SQL to support custom business logic.
Data Exports & Imports: Manage complex data architecture, orchestrating bulk data imports, mass updates, and system extracts using HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Spreadsheet Data Loader (HSDL), and HCM Extracts.
Data Migration & Support: Lead complex data conversion and migration initiatives. Troubleshoot critical production issues involving interfaces, APIs, performance, security, and HR data. Support Oracle quarterly releases, upgrades, testing, deployment, and production stabilization.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work directly with business leaders, HR stakeholders, functional consultants, architects, security teams, and senior technology executives to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Required Experience
Minimum 16+ years of overall IT experience (Mandatory).
12+ years of Oracle HR/HCM technical experience.
Strong background with Oracle HCM Cloud modules, specifically Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) and Talent Management, as well as Core HR and Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS.
Significant hands-on technical expertise designing and developing enterprise HR solutions, APIs, and data export/import routines.
Proven track record serving as a Technical Lead, Senior Technical Consultant, or Solution Architect.

Background in large-scale enterprise HR transformation initiatives.
