Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Hybrid)Employment Type: ContractContract Duration: 12 MonthsRole Overview
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Testing professional to support parallel projects in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for the development and execution of testing strategies using various software delivery methodologies. The ideal candidate will work independently with development and other internal teams to troubleshoot issues, identify risks, and ensure defects are resolved while adhering to defined quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
- Lead test planning at a team level and ensure stories are well-refined with clear acceptance criteria within a Scrum team.
- Implement the test framework for the team and lead test case reviews with subject matter experts.
- Identify automation opportunities and develop test automation for applicable test types.
- Condition, generate, and manage test data, ensuring compliance requirements are met across all test environments.
- Execute manual and automated test cases, record results, and report defects with appropriate background information.
- Trace tests through the development lifecycle and back to requirements.
- Utilize testing tools and follow processes to complete testing and assist with promoting the code base to higher-level environments.
- Maintain and catalog test suites across different test types, such as Smoke, Integration, and Regression.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills:- Experience in Automation Testing.
- Proficiency with Selenium.
- A background as a Java/Spring developer.
- Strong Core Java development skills.
- Command over SQL.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience using Cucumber and BDD processes to create Feature Files and Step Definitions.
- Knowledge of the Workfusion platform.
Work Environment
This position requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days per week onsite.
