Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with 10+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, containerization, Infrastructure as Code, and production support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure while improving deployment automation, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
• Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Excellent knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Amazon EKS / Azure AKS / Google GKE
• Strong scripting skills using Python, Bash, Shell, or PowerShell
• Strong experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
• Experience implementing automated build, deployment, testing, and release processes
• Experience with Linux/Unix administration
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts including VPC/VNet, DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls, Security Groups, and IAM
• Experience with cloud security, secrets management, encryption, and access controls
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Design and manage highly available cloud infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with:
  • AWS EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, EKS, CloudWatch
  • Azure VM, VNet, AKS, Key Vault, Azure Monitor
  • Google Cloud Platform Compute Engine, VPC, GKE, Cloud Storage, IAM
• Implement scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure infrastructure
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management

CI/CD & Automation

• Design and maintain enterprise-level CI/CD pipelines
• Automate application build, testing, deployment, and release processes
• Implement GitOps practices where applicable
• Experience with Argo CD, Flux, Helm, or similar deployment technologies
• Implement branching strategies, automated testing, approvals, and deployment controls
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures and deployment issues

Kubernetes & Containers

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes architecture and administration
• Deploy and manage containerized applications
• Experience with:
  • Kubernetes
  • Docker
  • Helm
  • EKS / AKS / GKE
  • Ingress Controllers
  • ConfigMaps and Secrets
  • Services and Deployments
  • Autoscaling
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes performance, networking, and application issues

Infrastructure as Code & Configuration Management

• Strong experience with Terraform
• Develop reusable Terraform modules
• Manage infrastructure across multiple environments
• Experience with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
• Implement configuration management and infrastructure automation

Monitoring & Observability

• Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability solutions
• Experience with tools such as:
  • Prometheus
  • Grafana
  • Splunk
  • Datadog
  • ELK/Elastic Stack
  • CloudWatch / Azure Monitor / Google Cloud Monitoring
• Define and monitor SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs
• Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root-cause analysis

Security & DevSecOps

• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, container scanning, and secret scanning
• Implement IAM and least-privilege access
• Manage secrets using AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault, HashiCorp Vault, or similar tools
• Ensure infrastructure and deployment processes follow enterprise security standards

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and DevOps platforms
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments
• Manage Kubernetes and containerized environments
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Monitor production environments and resolve infrastructure/application issues
• Participate in incident management, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis
• Improve system reliability, scalability, performance, and availability
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, Architecture, and Operations teams
• Establish and maintain DevOps best practices and standards
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform certification is a plus
• Kubernetes certification such as CKA/CKAD is a plus
• Experience with GitOps, DevSecOps, SRE, and cloud-native architecture
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
