Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior MuleSoft Developer with 8+ years of hands-on experience to join our healthcare integration team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting enterprise-grade integrations using MuleSoft.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Healthcare integrations, API-led connectivity, HL7/FHIR, REST/SOAP APIs, and MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Develop System APIs, Process APIs, and Experience APIs following API-led connectivity principles.
• Work closely with healthcare business and technical teams to understand integration requirements.
• Integrate healthcare applications, provider systems, databases, and external platforms.
• Work with healthcare standards such as HL7 and FHIR where applicable.
• Develop REST and SOAP-based integrations and perform data transformations using DataWeave.
• Create and maintain API specifications using RAML/OAS.
• Implement error handling, logging, exception management, and retry mechanisms.
• Deploy and manage applications using CloudHub / CloudHub 2.0.
• Work with Anypoint API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, and Anypoint Studio.
• Implement security mechanisms including OAuth 2.0, client ID enforcement, TLS/SSL, and authentication/authorization.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis.
• Optimize Mule applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
• Work with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Prepare technical documentation, API specifications, mapping documents, and deployment documentation.
• Mentor junior MuleSoft developers and provide technical guidance to the team.

Mandatory Skills

• 8+ years of overall IT experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft development.
• Strong knowledge of Mule 4 / Anypoint Platform.
• Experience with API-led connectivity and enterprise integration patterns.
• Strong expertise in DataWeave 2.0.
• Strong experience with RAML / OpenAPI.
• Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience with CloudHub / CloudHub 2.0.
• Experience with API Manager, Runtime Manager, Anypoint Exchange, and Anypoint Studio.
• Strong experience in MuleSoft application troubleshooting and production support.
• Healthcare domain experience is mandatory.
• Experience working with PDS / Provider Data Services is highly preferred.
• Experience integrating provider-related systems and healthcare applications.
• Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, X12, HIPAA, and healthcare interoperability standards.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
