Remote Solution Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a Remote Solution Architect. This role focuses on the SAP Quality Management (QM) module, supporting quality processes within a hybrid SAP-MES environment. The client leverages an external Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to manage production orders, reporting, and shop floor operations outside of SAP.

Summary:
As work is executed in the MES, this resource will be responsible for ensuring all quality-related activities are accurately reflected and validated within SAP QM. This includes performing quality reviews, managing inspection data, and supporting seamless integration between systems.
The role requires frequent coordination between the MES platform and SAP to ensure data consistency, compliance with quality standards, and accurate tracking of production outcomes.

Work Schedule:
* Four-day workweek, 10 hours per day (Eastern Time)
* Fridays off

REQUIREMENTS:
* No certifications required, but nice to have
* 8+ years of SAP experience required
* 10-15 years of experience preferred
* Deep functional expertise within SAP QM, including inspection setup, inspection lot processing, results recording, usage decisions, and management of defects and quality notifications
* Experience integrating SAP QM with upstream and downstream processes (e.g., production, warehousing) is essential, along with a strong understanding of how quality data flows across systems
* Hands-on experience working with MES solutions (ideally Apriso), supporting real-time shop floor quality execution, including data capture, defect tracking, and ensuring seamless integration between MES and SAP S/4HANA environments
* Strong SAP QM experience required, including inspection processes, results recording, usage decisions, and quality notifications
* Experience integrating SAP with MES (preferably Apriso) to support shop floor quality, data collection, and defect tracking across systems

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
