Key Responsibilities
Lead the technical direction and day-to-day engineering activities of the Sprint Team.
Design and oversee scalable, high-performance database solutions for enterprise applications.
Establish and enforce coding standards, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
Translate architectural guidelines into practical, team-level implementation strategies.
Mentor and coach developers, fostering technical growth and collaboration.
Partner with the Scrum Master and Product Owner to plan sprint goals and ensure successful delivery.
Drive the adoption of AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
Resolve technical challenges and coordinate cross-functional integration efforts.
Support cloud-native application development and database optimization using AWS technologies.
Promote continuous improvement in database performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in software engineering or database development, including technical leadership responsibilities.
Strong hands-on experience with cloud-native application development and modern database technologies.
Experience working with AWS services and CI/CD pipelines.
Proven ability to lead engineering teams, conduct code reviews, and mentor developers.
Strong understanding of software design principles, database architecture, and performance optimization.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Certification (Associate or Professional level preferred).
Experience supporting Federal Government or other large enterprise technology programs.
Familiarity with AI-assisted software development and engineering productivity tools.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
