About the Role
We are seeking a talented Database Developer to join our team in building and supporting a high-volume enterprise platform. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing database solutions, optimizing SQL performance, building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, and ensuring data integrity and security using modern AWS data services.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain database schemas, SQL queries, and stored procedures.
Build and support ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing.
Optimize database performance, query execution, and indexing strategies.
Develop and maintain data models using AWS services such as Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB, and S3.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across enterprise data platforms.
Collaborate with developers, architects, and cross-functional teams to implement efficient data access patterns.
Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve database development and pipeline efficiency.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in database development.
Strong proficiency in SQL and database design.
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
Hands-on experience with AWS database services.
Experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
Strong understanding of database performance tuning, optimization, and security.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AWS services including Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift, and S3.
Experience supporting high-volume enterprise applications.
Federal Government or regulated industry experience is a plus.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development or database automation tools.
