Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Application Programmer III to join our Global Financial Crimes technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in full-stack Java and Angular development and a proven ability to deliver high-quality, performant applications that meet defined business acceptance criteria.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications supporting Global Financial Crimes use cases.
- Write clean, testable code and perform unit and integration testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Collaborate with business partners to refine requirements and ensure acceptance criteria are met.
- Partner with multiple technology teams to implement target architecture and migrate to strategic platforms.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of full-stack Java application development experience.
- 4+ years of Angular experience building responsive web applications.
- Strong Core Java, including multithreading, Collections API, JDBC, and Java profiling tools.
- Experience tuning performance for data-intensive applications.
- Strong coding, debugging, and analytical skills with an agile delivery mindset.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline.
Preferred Skills:
- Background in enterprise stress testing.
- Experience with Elastic, Hadoop, Teradata, or other distributed big data ecosystems.
- Knowledge of cloud or distributed computing environments.
- Prior work in Agile/Scrum settings.
