About the Opportunity
Crater Lake Solutions is seeking an experienced Veeva Technical Lead to support a
top global biopharmaceutical client on a Veeva Vault and PromoMats
implementation. This individual will provide technical leadership throughout the
implementation lifecycle, working closely with business stakeholders, solution
architects, business analysts, developers, and implementation partners to deliver
scalable, compliant, and high-quality solutions.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with extensive experience leading
Veeva Vault implementations and coordinating cross-functional technical teams in
regulated life sciences environments.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the technical implementation of Veeva Vault and Veeva PromoMats
solutions from design through production deployment.
Serve as the primary technical lead for the implementation, providing guidance to
development teams, business analysts, administrators, and integration
resources.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into
scalable technical solutions.
Design and review Veeva Vault configurations, object models, security,
workflows, lifecycle configurations, and integrations.
Lead technical solution design sessions and participate in architecture reviews.
Provide technical oversight for customizations, configurations, integrations, data
migration, and system validation activities.
Coordinate technical activities across internal teams, implementation partners,
and third-party vendors.
Ensure technical deliverables meet quality, security, regulatory, and GxP
compliance requirements.

Review technical specifications, configuration documents, and deployment plans.
Identify technical risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve
implementation issues.
Support release planning, deployment planning, production support, and
hypercare activities.
Mentor junior technical team members and promote development best practices.

Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience implementing enterprise applications within the Life
Sciences industry.
5+ years of hands-on Veeva Vault implementation experience.
Multiple successful implementations of Veeva PromoMats.
Strong experience configuring:
o Lifecycles
o Workflows
o Security Model
o Object Configuration
o Document Types
o User Roles
o Dynamic Access Control
Experience leading technical teams throughout full software implementation
lifecycles.
Experience working with:
o Business Analysts
o Solution Architects
o Project Managers
o Developers
o QA Teams

o Validation Teams
o External System Integrators
Strong understanding of:
o Promotional Review (MLR)
o Digital Asset Management (DAM)
o Claims Management
o Promotional Material Approval Processes
Experience with integrations using APIs, middleware, or enterprise integration
platforms.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with additional Veeva Vault applications such as:
o Quality
o RIM
o Clinical
o eTMF
Experience with GxP and Computer System Validation (CSV).
Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.
Experience working within global pharmaceutical organizations.
Veeva Vault certifications are highly desirable.
