Job Description (
We are looking for an amazingly talented QA Automation Engineer to join the team. In this role, you will drive software quality through automation, manual testing, accessibility validation, and continuous process improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation frameworks, API testing, database validation, and accessibility compliance testing.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks and testing tools.
- Create and execute end-to-end automation test scripts and reusable workflows.
- Develop detailed Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Procedures, and Test Reports.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, validation, and verification testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Implement Page Object Model (POM), data-driven frameworks, and reusable automation utilities.
- Conduct accessibility testing aligned with WCAG 2.1 AA and AODA compliance standards.
- Utilize accessibility testing tools such as axe-core, Lighthouse, WAVE, NVDA, and JAWS.
- Perform API testing using Postman and SOAP UI.
- Execute performance and load testing using JMeter and LoadRunner.
- Collaborate with Development and Product teams to troubleshoot defects and validate fixes.
- Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
- Log and track defects using JIRA, Azure DevOps, and ServiceNow.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum activities and contribute to continuous QA improvements.
Required Skills
- Experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
- Strong automation experience using Java, Python, or JavaScript (Node.js).
- Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Appium for web/mobile automation.
- Strong experience in API testing using Postman and SOAP UI.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong SQL skills with experience in MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
- Extensive experience in accessibility testing and compliance validation.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC/STLC processes.
- Experience using JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Azure DevOps.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with AWS cloud services.
- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
- Experience with enterprise-scale applications and distributed systems.
