Role Overview
An experienced IT Operational Specialist is sought to handle IT operational and migration project support within a global IT Mergers & Acquisitions Operations team. This role requires a proven enterprise-level L2/L3 background in handling incidents and requests focused on enterprise compute, end-user compute, applications, and cybersecurity. The successful candidate will manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating flexibility in a dynamic environment, with a strong focus on attitude, professionalism, and service orientation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 / Level 3 operational support for infrastructure, applications, and end-user services for newly acquired organizations during integration.
- Own and resolve incidents and service requests in ServiceNow, performing triage, root cause analysis, resolution, and escalation.
- Support operational activities during infrastructure migration and security remediation projects, ensuring service stability and continuity.
- Review and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles for supported environments.
- Act as a point of contact during critical incidents, ensuring effective communication across operational teams and stakeholders.
- Identify trends in incidents and requests to proactively inform remediation and integration planning.
- Support the formal handover to steady-state IT Operations, including knowledge transfer and documentation validation.
- Own tickets end-to-end, liaising with source IT, service desks, and vendors without reassigning ownership.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
Experience: A minimum of 5-8 years of experience at an L2/L3 support specialist level is required. This includes experience managing IT environments for mid-to-large international organizations and providing direct client-facing or end-user support. Candidates must have strong troubleshooting experience across diverse environments.
Technical Skills: A comprehensive understanding of networking, security, backup/storage, identity management, servers, and workstations is necessary. Proficiency with the Microsoft product line-up and collaboration tools (Teams, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint) is expected. Foundational knowledge of ITIL v3 Service management practices and experience with ITSM systems like ServiceNow is needed.

Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $70.00/hour to $80.00/hour. Please note that the exact compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to skill level, experience, and location. A benefits package is available for eligible employees.
