Business Operations Analyst

job summary:

Key member of the Debit network, EBT and Fleet Operations team, this position will support debit network setups and bank sponsorship initiatives and projects. Debit network setup will entitle merchants for debit processing including but not limited to 23 debits networks on multiple Fiserv platforms (i.e. Buypass, FDMS/North, Omaha, etc.). Bank sponsorship efforts will evaluate and support new onboarding of sponsorship including but not limited to creating BIN and ICA for debit processing. The role provides provide support for documenting procedures. Also, role will partner with other Associates within the Debit Ops team to support research, projects, and ad hoc task.

responsibilities:

1. Debit Network Setup & Merchant Enablement

• Configure and enable merchants for debit card processing across ~23 debit networks.
• Work within multiple Fiserv platforms (e.g., Buypass, FDMS/North, Omaha).
• Ensure accurate setup of merchant entitlements and processing capabilities.

2. Bank Sponsorship Support

• Assist with onboarding new bank sponsorships.
• Create and manage BINs (Bank Identification Numbers) and ICAs (Interbank Card Association numbers) required for debit processing.
• Evaluate new sponsorship requirements and support implementation activities.

3. Documentation & Procedure Development

• Document operational procedures, workflows, and setup processes.
• Maintain accuracy and ensure documentation reflects current practices.

4. Operational Support & Research

• Partner with Debit Operations team members to perform research on production issues, network setups, or merchant configurations.
• Support ongoing projects and ad hoc tasks as needed.

5. Cross?functional Collaboration

• Work closely with internal associates to ensure smooth execution of setups and sponsorship implementations.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders to resolve issues affecting production services.

- 5 years professional experience focused on merchant / client implementation / client entitlement

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Must have effective written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work under pressure to resolve issues affecting production services
