About the Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to support a range of moderately complex engineering initiatives. In this contingent assignment, you will contribute to project planning, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help design, build, and integrate software solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

You will apply strong analytical skills to evaluate engineering challenges, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions. This role requires the ability to work within established processes and compliance frameworks while partnering closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality results.
What You'll Do

• Strong Backend Java Experience
• Full Stack Developer - Heavier focus on the backend.
• Java
• Spring boot
• Microservices/API
• Participate in and consult on moderately complex software engineering projects and deliverables.
• Support planning, execution, and delivery of engineering solutions at scale.
• Analyze technical challenges and evaluate variable factors to determine the best approach.
• Contribute to resolving issues by applying engineering principles, established policies, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with client and internal engineering teams to ensure successful integration and delivery.
• Work across middleware, APIs, and front-end/back-end components to support development efforts.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, OR equivalent combination of:
  • Professional work experience
  • Consulting experience
  • Technical training
  • Military background
  • Relevant education

Preferred Skills

• Middleware development
• Java / Spring Boot
• React
• API integration and development
