Duration: 6+ Months Contract (Extension possible based on performance)
Shift: Monday-Friday, Normal Business Hours
About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Tester 2 to evaluate the performance, accuracy, and naturalness of an AI-driven virtual assistant. This role centers on testing ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition), conversational AI responses, and synthesized speech across different accents, languages, and real-world noise conditions.

Candidates with strong analytical skills, curiosity about AI, and a solid technical foundation-even without prior testing experience-are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities

• Execute voice, audio, and interaction tests following defined testing standards and procedures.
• Evaluate virtual assistant responses for clarity, correctness, and contextual naturalness.
• Assess ASR accuracy across varied acoustic environments, accents, and language patterns.
• Run automation tests, interpret basic scripts, and report execution outcomes.
• Log, track, and verify defects; collaborate within cross-functional teams on issue resolution.
• Review, edit, and proofread translations for grammar, punctuation, and contextual integrity.
• Perform testing on web-based applications, mobile devices, and multiple platforms.
• Use spreadsheets and internal tools to process, record, and summarize results.
• Summarize information from multiple sources in English and applicable target languages.
• Apply linguistic and cultural sensitivity when evaluating content.
• Work effectively under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience) - Highly preferred
• 0-4 years of experience; recent CS graduates welcome
• Strong English reading, writing, and speaking skills
• Intermediate proficiency with computers, spreadsheets, and mobile devices
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities
• Ability to multitask, follow instructions, and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of cultural/linguistic nuances and political correctness
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Bonus: Korean language skills

Preferred Technical Skills

• Familiarity with ASR, speech processing, TTS, or conversational AI
• Basic scripting experience or ability to interpret automation test scripts
• Knowledge of software testing practices and methodologies
• Strong mobile device navigation skills
