The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is seeking a visionary DevOps Engineer to serve as a catalyst for technical excellence within a high-stakes financial services environment. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between global engineering efforts and localized execution, ensuring that mission-critical systems remain robust, scalable, and resilient. You won’t just be maintaining infrastructure; you will be architecting the future of delivery speed and system transparency for one of our premier banking clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Champion global delivery by coordinating with international engineering squads, acting as the primary onshore strategist for resiliency and DevOps milestones.

  • Architect standardized CI/CD frameworks via GitLab to harmonize deployment workflows across diverse business units, drastically increasing release frequency and consistency.

  • Synthesize complex data into actionable intelligence by engineering sophisticated observability suites using Dynatrace and Kibana.

  • Drive the creation of integrated monitoring ecosystems that offer a holistic view of application health and business performance.

  • Engineer bespoke automation scripts and leverage vendor APIs to eliminate manual overhead and optimize operational efficiency.

  • Cultivate a library of modular automation blueprints using Ansible to ensure rapid, repeatable infrastructure management.

  • Advise multidisciplinary teams—including product and infrastructure leads—to bolster system uptime and refine operational benchmarks.

  • Propel the evolution of DevOps maturity by introducing advanced resiliency strategies and modern engineering standards.

What You Bring

  • Extensive Background: A proven track record in Platform Engineering or DevOps within large-scale, high-complexity enterprise landscapes.

  • Pipeline Mastery: Deep technical proficiency in crafting and fine-tuning GitLab CI/CD architectures.

  • Observability Expertise: Advanced skills in deploying and managing monitoring platforms like Kibana and Dynatrace to generate meaningful system insights.

  • Automation Fluency: Strong command of Ansible and API-driven development to automate intricate technical workflows.

  • Leadership & Coordination: Demonstrated ability to steer distributed teams across multiple time zones, ensuring project alignment and high-velocity execution.

  • Strategic Mindset: A focus on building reusable, scalable frameworks rather than temporary patches, with a core understanding of system durability.

  • Collaborative Communication: The ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, from infrastructure engineers to executive leadership.
