Education Requirements


  • Associate degree required, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field

  • Additional engineering coursework, certifications, or CAD training is a plus

  • Understanding of engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation preferred


Experience Requirements


  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, maintenance, or engineering environment

  • Plastics manufacturing or injection molding experience is highly desirable

  • Working knowledge of PLCs, electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems

  • Experience with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications

  • Basic CAD design experience preferred


Physical Capabilities


  • Ability to work in an active manufacturing environment

  • Ability to inspect equipment, production lines, and maintenance activities on the plant floor

  • Ability to safely work around manufacturing machinery and equipment

  • May require standing, walking, climbing, and lifting during inspections and project activities


Job Duties


  • Support manufacturing operations, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled systems

  • Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs and equipment documentation

  • Manage spare parts inventory, vendor sourcing, and maintenance-related purchasing activities

  • Assist with capital projects, equipment installations, automation initiatives, and facility upgrades

  • Create and update SOPs, validation documentation (IQ/OQ/PQ), and engineering records

  • Utilize CAD software to develop tooling, fixture, and production support designs

  • Support vision systems, process optimization, safety compliance, environmental documentation, and EHS programs

  • Collaborate with maintenance, production, engineering, and contractor teams to improve efficiency, quality, and uptime
