We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to support cloud infrastructure, application workloads, production operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, security, and enterprise cloud governance.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
☁️ Design, implement, maintain, and support Microsoft Azure resources
🔍 Monitor Azure services, workloads, logs, metrics, and application performance
🛠️ Troubleshoot connectivity, access, security, and production issues
🔐 Manage IAM, Entra ID, SSO, Key Vault, certificates, secrets, and privileged access
💾 Implement Rubrik backup & recovery for Azure IaaS/PaaS
🖥️ Support Windows infrastructure and Azure Virtual Desktop
📊 Work with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics for diagnostics
🐍 Use PowerShell and/or Python for automation and administration
🔒 Apply PCI and enterprise security/compliance requirements
📝 Maintain infrastructure, topology, governance, and operational documentation
🚨 Support production incidents, RCA, change requests, and rollback procedures
🤝 Collaborate with architects, engineers, vendors, and cross-functional teams
⭐ Required Experience:
• 3+ years Microsoft Azure administration/engineering
• 3+ years VDOT / E-ZPass Virginia tolling applications, infrastructure, and cloud workloads
• 5+ years Microsoft Windows environments
• Server infrastructure, protocols, firewalls, certificates, and load balancers
• Networking, Windows/Linux administration, databases, and cloud environments
• 2+ years Rubrik backup & recovery for Azure IaaS/PaaS
• 2+ years PowerShell and/or Python
• 2+ years SecretServer privileged access vault administration
• Office 365 and Power Apps
• Entra ID / SSO administration
• Azure Virtual Desktop
• PCI or similar compliance experience
• Enterprise cloud governance experience
➕ Preferred:
• Azure AZ-104, AZ-305, or similar certification
• Azure DevOps / Jenkins / Git / TFS
• Terraform or equivalent IaC
• Docker / Kubernetes
• Azure cost optimization
• Key Vault, secrets, and certificate management
🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience preferred.
