Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, strategic IT leader to oversee enterprise infrastructure, network operations, cybersecurity, database administration, help desk services, and end-user technology support. This role is responsible for developing and executing technology roadmaps, ensuring secure and scalable operations, leading a high-performing technical team, and aligning IT capabilities with business objectives.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with proven leadership experience and a passion for driving operational excellence, modernization, and continuous improvement across a complex technology environment.
Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Operations Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and develop infrastructure, operations, and service desk teams.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on accountability, innovation, and customer service.
  • Develop and execute infrastructure strategies that support business growth and technology modernization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across infrastructure, cloud services, and operational processes.
  • Collaborate with enterprise technology teams to align priorities, standards, and best practices.
Cloud & Technology Strategy
  • Create and manage the infrastructure roadmap supporting business objectives and future growth.
  • Evaluate and implement cloud-based, hybrid, and on-premises infrastructure solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage internal resources, managed services, and strategic technology partners.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies, including cloud platforms, artificial intelligence, automation, and cybersecurity trends.
Security, Risk & Compliance
  • Partner with cybersecurity teams to maintain a secure computing environment.
  • Support threat detection, incident response, remediation, and recovery activities.
  • Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and standards for infrastructure security and access management.
  • Ensure infrastructure platforms remain current through patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
  • Lead disaster recovery planning, testing, and business continuity initiatives.
Service Delivery & Support
  • Oversee IT operations supporting enterprise applications, infrastructure, and end-user technologies.
  • Ensure timely resolution of production incidents through effective escalation and communication processes.
  • Manage support services for servers, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, telecommunications systems, and related technologies.
  • Monitor operational metrics and service performance to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and operational reliability.
Engineering Systems & Business Applications
  • Support Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Product Data Management (PDM), and related engineering systems.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to ensure technology solutions meet operational needs.
  • Support eCommerce and web infrastructure environments when applicable.
Vendor & Financial Management
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and strategic partners.
  • Establish and monitor service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Oversee procurement and lifecycle management of hardware, software, and technology services.
  • Contribute to annual budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning activities.
Required Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
Experience
  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience.
  • 10+ years of experience leading technical infrastructure and operations teams.
  • Experience managing enterprise infrastructure in hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, networking, systems administration, cybersecurity, and enterprise operations.
  • Experience supporting distributed enterprise environments and end-user computing technologies.
  • Proven ability to lead infrastructure transformation and modernization initiatives.
Technical Skills
  • Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
  • Network administration and enterprise infrastructure management.
  • Cybersecurity principles, risk management, and incident response.
  • Infrastructure automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
  • Disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  • Server, storage, virtualization, and endpoint management technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCIE, PMP, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting ERP platforms and enterprise business systems.
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Product Data Management (PDM) solutions.
  • Experience supporting eCommerce or web-based infrastructure environments.
