Job Title: SAP PP /QM Consultant
Location: Baton Rouge, LA
Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior SAP PP/QM Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Quality Management within manufacturing environments and solid integration experience with Production Planning (PP) and Materials Management (MM).
The role will focus on driving production quality, procurement quality, and shop floor inspection processes as part of S/4HANA transformation or support programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP QM solution design including:
- Incoming, In-Process & Final Inspections
- Results Recording & Usage Decision
- Quality Notifications & CAPA
- Batch Management & Traceability
- Integrate QM with:
- Production Orders & Shop Floor Processes (PP)
- Procurement & Inventory (MM)
- Support quality processes across manufacturing and warehouse operations
- Work on PP/QM integration for:
- Production execution
- In-process inspections
- MRP-driven planning
- Participate in S/4HANA implementations / upgrades
- Support quality master data migration & testing
- Collaborate with business teams to ensure audit-ready quality processes
Required Experience
- 10+ years SAP experience
- Strong hands-on SAP QM expertise
- Good integration experience with SAP PP & MM
- Experience in manufacturing environments
- Exposure to S/4HANA implementations preferred
Educational Qualifications:
- Required - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or closely related or equivalent.
- Preferred - Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Big Data or Analytics or equivalent.
Travel:
· Open to travel based up on the nature of the engagement.
