Genesis10 is currently seeking a Solutions Architect for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role involves translating business requirements into technical architecture and design documents for an enterprise data platform focused on environmental and climate risk. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deploy RESTful and SOAP-based APIs using Java Spring Boot and Mulesoft. The position requires collaboration with business users and the development team to implement robust solutions.
Responsibilities: - Translate requirements created by functional analysts into the solution architecture and describe it through architecture and design documents
- Select the most appropriate technology for the problem being solved, including impact assessment and technical/operational feasibility
- Design, develop, and deploy APIs using Java Spring Boot and Mulesoft
- Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze integration requirements
- Interact and coordinate with a distributed team
- Provide regular task status updates to management
Requirements: - Proven experience designing and developing RESTful and SOAP based APIs
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, XML, and JSON
- Experience with databases like Oracle or SQL Server
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins
- Understanding of security protocols such as OAuth, SAML, and SSL/TLS
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Desired skills: - Proficiency in ETL tools like Informatica
- Experience with Mulesoft
- Experience with Angular
- Experience with Autosys
Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour
