Summary

Campagni Auto Group in Carson City, NV is seeking an experienced IT Systems / Network Administrator to support and maintain our IT systems, network infrastructure, and end-user technology environment. This role is responsible for resolving employee technology issues, monitoring and maintaining network and systems performance, and working closely with third-party vendors and service providers.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, personable, self-motivated, and comfortable handling both hands-on technical tasks and employee-facing support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for Helpdesk Level III support, prioritizing and resolving break-fix issues.
  • Monitor and manage ticketing systems and call-in support lines, identifying and responding to critical system issues.
  • Provide remote and onsite troubleshooting for employee technology issues, including:
    • Domain and application lockouts
    • Password resets
    • Printer issues and peripheral troubleshooting
    • Basic hardware repairs, reboots, and system diagnostics
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including:
    • Creating and securing user credentials
    • Assigning Office 365 accounts, email addresses, and security groups
    • Programming Active Directory user accounts
    • Assigning VOIP extensions and phone system configurations
    • Assigning and tracking required security training
  • Maintain and monitor network traffic, performance, and system availability.
  • Utilize scripting, automation tools, AI solutions, and modern technologies to improve system performance and proactively prevent issues.
  • Maintain and support:
    • Network infrastructure
    • Cloud systems
    • Backup and disaster recovery solutions
    • Endpoint protection platforms
  • Track and maintain accurate hardware and equipment inventories.
  • Work closely with third-party vendors and service providers for implementation, escalation, and ongoing support.
  • Participate in continuing education, industry training, and internal development programs to remain current with evolving technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of recent IT systems and/or network administration experience, with an emphasis on Helpdesk Level III support
    OR
  • Equivalent recent education combined with hands-on experience in a similar role
  • Certifications or a degree in a related IT field are a plus and must be current within the last 48 months, or an equivalent combination of certifications and recent experience

  • Windows Server
  • DHCP
  • DNS
  • AzureAD / Active Directory
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Windows Operating Systems
  • Powershell scripting
  • Endpoint protection platforms (Huntress or similar)
  • Ubiquiti wireless infrastructure
  • FortiGate UTM devices
  • Cisco switching
  • Syncro and/or similar remote monitoring, management, and ticketing systems

Basic Knowledge (Preferred):

  • macOS
  • IP camera and surveillance systems
  • Low-voltage systems
  • Alarm systems
  • VOIP telephone systems
  • Smart Phone OS
