Citadel Security USA is hiring a Part-Time Mobile Patrol Security Officer to support residential apartment communities throughout the Fort Collins area. This position is designed for dependable professionals who can adapt to changing schedules and provide coverage where operational needs arise.
As a Patrol Officer, you will operate company patrol vehicles, conduct routine property inspections, complete electronic reporting, and help maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and property personnel. The ideal candidate is dependable, observant, comfortable working independently, and confident using mobile technology to complete daily assignments.

Primary Responsibilities Mobile Patrol Operations - Operate company patrol vehicles while completing assigned patrol routes.
- Conduct scheduled inspections of apartment buildings, parking lots, garages, and common areas.
- Check exterior doors, gates, perimeter fencing, and other designated access points.
- Help maintain a visible security presence throughout assigned communities.
- Observe for unauthorized activity, property damage, safety hazards, or maintenance concerns.
Property Monitoring - Perform both interior and exterior patrols of residential properties.
- Identify unusual conditions and report concerns promptly.
- Assist in maintaining a safe environment for residents, visitors, contractors, and property management.
- Follow site-specific post orders and patrol procedures during every shift.
Incident Response - Respond appropriately to security-related situations within company guidelines.
- Document observations, incidents, and operational concerns accurately.
- Notify supervisors of situations requiring additional assistance.
- Exercise sound judgment while working independently in the field.
Reporting & Technology - Complete clear, detailed, and accurate daily activity reports.
- Prepare professional incident documentation using company reporting platforms.
- Utilize mobile devices and security software to receive assignments, complete reports, and communicate with supervisors.
- Maintain accurate electronic records throughout each shift.
Professional Communication - Interact professionally with residents, guests, vendors, and property staff.
- Provide courteous customer service while maintaining established security procedures.
- Maintain regular communication with dispatch and field leadership.
- Always Represent Citadel Security USA in a professional manner.
Minimum Qualifications - Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Reliable personal vehicle for travel to assigned work locations.
- Ability to safely operate company patrol vehicles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer and mobile device proficiency.
- Ability to learn and effectively use company software applications.
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications - Previous experience in mobile patrol, security, customer service, or property protection.
- Experience completing electronic reports and incident documentation.
- Familiarity with mobile workforce applications or security reporting platforms.
- Experience working in residential communities or multi-family housing environments.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
