Citadel Security USA is seeking dependable Unarmed Security Officers to provide security services at an active commercial construction project in Aurora, Colorado. This full-time position is ideal for individuals who are attentive, reliable, and capable of working independently while helping maintain a secure and well-controlled job site.
Officers assigned to this location will conduct routine patrols, monitor site access, complete scheduled status reports, and respond promptly to security concerns. This role requires professionalism, strong observation skills, and the ability to follow established site procedures throughout every shift.

Primary Responsibilities Construction Site Patrol - Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols throughout the construction site.
- Inspect buildings, equipment storage areas, fencing, gates, and perimeter boundaries.
- Help protect construction materials, tools, equipment, and company assets.
- Maintain a visible security presence to discourage unauthorized activity.
Access Control - Monitor entrances and exits throughout the assigned shift.
- Verify authorization before permitting entry to employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors.
- Record visitor and contractor information in accordance with site procedures.
- Ensure restricted areas remain properly secured.
Security Monitoring & Incident Response - Observe for suspicious activity, trespassing, vandalism, theft, or unsafe conditions.
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and other security-related incidents.
- Report emergencies or operational concerns to supervisors immediately.
- Follow established emergency procedures and post orders.
Reporting & Documentation - Complete required security status reports every 30 minutes as directed by site procedures.
- Prepare accurate daily activity logs and detailed incident reports.
- Document observations, patrol findings, and unusual occurrences clearly and professionally.
- Utilize company reporting systems to maintain complete shift documentation.
Professional Communication - Maintain regular communication with supervisors and site management.
- Provide professional customer service while interacting with authorized personnel.
- Follow all company policies, client requirements, and operational procedures.
- Always Represent Citadel Security USA with professionalism and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications - Reliable personal vehicle required for transportation to and from the assigned work site.
- Strong observation and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Ability to complete detailed written reports accurately.
- Ability to remain calm and exercise sound judgment during changing situations.
Preferred Qualifications - Previous experience in construction site security, commercial security, patrol operations, or access control.
- Experience monitoring large outdoor properties.
- Familiarity with electronic reporting systems and mobile workforce applications.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Customer service or public interaction experience.
