Citadel Security USA is hiring Unarmed Event Security Officers to support scheduled events in Arvada, Colorado. As an Event Security Officer, you will provide a visible security presence, conduct patrols, monitor designated areas, and respond appropriately to security concerns while delivering professional customer service. Successful candidates are attentive, courteous, and able to remain calm while working in fast-paced event settings.

Primary Responsibilities Event Security Operations - Patrol assigned event areas on foot to help maintain a safe environment.
- Maintain a highly visible security presence throughout the venue.
- Monitor entrances, exits, restricted areas, and public gathering spaces.
- Observe for suspicious activity, safety concerns, or policy violations.
- Assist with protecting event property, equipment, and client assets.
Access Control & Crowd Monitoring - Monitor designated access points and verify entry authorization when required.
- Help direct attendees, vendors, and event personnel to appropriate locations.
- Support crowd management efforts while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Enforce event policies and site procedures respectfully and consistently.
Incident Response - Respond promptly to disturbances, emergencies, or security-related concerns.
- Notify supervisors of incidents requiring additional assistance.
- Coordinate with emergency responders when appropriate.
- Follow established emergency response procedures and client instructions.
Reporting & Documentation - Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.
- Document unusual occurrences, safety hazards, and security observations.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with supervisors throughout each shift.
- Record information using approved reporting methods.
Customer Service - Greeting guests and provide courteous assistance when appropriate.
- Answer general questions and provide directions within the venue.
- Interact professionally with attendees, vendors, performers, and client representatives.
- Represent Citadel Security USA with professionalism, integrity, and respect.
Minimum Qualifications - Valid driver's license.

- Familiarity with incident reporting and event procedures.
- Strong conflict resolution and interpersonal communication skills.
Work Environment - Indoor and outdoor event venues.
- Extended periods of standing and walking throughout the shift.
- Fast-paced environment with frequent interaction with the public.
- May include exposure to varying weather conditions during outdoor assignments.
