The Senior SAP FICO/CO‑PS Consultant will serve as a Finance SME supporting a large utilities transformation program, with a strong focus on SAP Controlling (CO) and Project Systems (PS) configuration. This role requires deep hands‑on experience in CO‑PS within S/4HANA, along with the ability to translate complex accounting, FERC, and nuclear industry requirements into effective system design. The consultant will work onsite at client locations in Denver or Minneapolis, supporting implementation activities across a large multi‑workstream team. Candidates must have utilities industry experience, nuclear process knowledge, and the ability to perform end‑to‑end configuration in FICO, CO, and PS. 75-80% travel.
Working with a team of 100 people across all work streams- 30/40 team members within finance. Needs to have done at least 1-2 S4 implementations within the utility industry, because the configurations within this industry is different due to different regulations.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead configuration and solution design for SAP CO and Project Systems within S/4HANA
• Support financial process design for utilities and nuclear regulatory environments
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across a large deployment program
• Translate FERC and accounting requirements into system functionality
• Provide expertise during integration, testing, defect resolution, and cutover
• Partner with client stakeholders to ensure solution accuracy and compliance
• Travel 75–80% to client sites as needed
