Hiring Context

• Position Type: Direct hire (full-time)
• Reason: Backfill for former employee + critical team build-out
• Structure:
  • Team: 2 FTEs + 1 EDI contractor
  • Works closely with Argano (implementation + managed services partner)
  • Cross-functional interaction with business stakeholders & BAs

Business Need / Problem Statement

• Need a true Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) SME to:
  • Own and mature a large, complex integration landscape (~200 integrations; ~100 active)
  • Support growing integrations with internal systems and external partners (including Canadian operations using different systems)
  • Move beyond reactive support → drive roadmap, optimization, and long-term strategy
• Key gap from previous hire:
  • Strong technically (root cause analysis) but lacked:
    • Ownership mindset
    • Proactive improvement/roadmap development
    • Strategic execution

Ideal Candidate Profile

Must-Haves

• Deep OIC expertise (certification preferred)
• Experience across Oracle ecosystem:
  • OTM, OCC, WMS, EPM, CPQ (exposure level acceptable across some)
• Strong integration architecture + execution experience
• Ability to:
  • Assess current environment
  • Optimize existing integrations
  • Design future-state roadmap
• Excellent communication + stakeholder engagement
• Experience working cross-functionally (FIN, SCM, CRM teams)

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with:
  • Financial integrations (Wells Fargo, Fifth Third)
  • Salesforce, Workday, MES systems, EDI
• Background supporting high-volume integration environments
• Prior experience working alongside managed services partners

Scope of Work / Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize ~200 integrations (heavy OIC environment)
• Interface directly with:
  • SCM, Finance, Salesforce teams
  • External partners (banks, EDI vendors, third-party systems)
• Partner with Argano (managed services)
• Identify improvement areas and drive integration roadmap
• Potential to build new integrations (not immediate Day 1 focus)
