Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Technical Program Manager I for a contract position with a Leading Technology Firm located in Seattle, WA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. Summary: This role involves partnering with the Industrial Design, Color Material Finish, and Product Design Engineering teams to enable the definition and execution of next-generation hardware products. The successful candidate will advocate for the design vision by working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure it is authentically represented and integrated into the product development process.
Responsibilities: - Coordinate and drive Industrial design deliverables including specifications, DOE and validation plans across multiple concurrent projects
- Work with cross-functional teams (Industrial Design, CMF, SMEs, System PD, Reliability, Operations) to develop best practices and technology development processes
- Manage delivery of ID CMF Configurations for development builds and drive qualification to meet mass production timelines
- Create development, delivery, and qualification schedules based on program requirements, technical challenges, and business needs
- Manage program structure to optimize clarity and efficiency for program teams and leadership
- Communicate program statuses, identifying potential setbacks, including vendor tooling schedules and CMF design sprints
- Manage communication within and between internal cross-functional teams
- Ensure program documents are complete, current, and available for review
- Contribute to resource planning to ensure program success
Requirements: - 7+ years of experience working in a mechanical engineering or industrial design field
- Experience in product development, defining requirements and program constraints, and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in colors, plastics/textiles color managing, understanding of color palette, managing color schedule, and communicating with ID/PD teams
Desired skills: - Experience working in a large technology company

- Experience in consumer electronics, hardware, or mechanical products
Pay range: up to $88.19 per Hour
