Job Description:
Apex Systems is hiring a Senior Change, Release and Deployment Analyst for a large Healthcare client.

Location: FULLY REMOTE anywhere in the United States.

Role Overview

This role provides enterprise oversight across multiple technology domains. The position involves governing production technology changes to reduce risk and disruption to business services, ensuring changes are planned, assessed, authorized, and validated according to enterprise policy. Success in this role depends on balancing risk assessment and consistent governance with a high volume of time-sensitive production changes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned change review work in ServiceNow, assessing records for completeness, risk, service impact, dependencies, implementation readiness, scheduling, validation, and recovery planning.
  • Identify gaps, provide concise feedback to change owners, confirm corrections, and document review decisions.
  • Apply requirements for different change types (Normal, Standard, Expedited, and Emergency) and scheduling restrictions.
  • Prioritize time-sensitive work and escalate exceptions or unresolved risks.
  • Independently assess production changes across technology teams for risk, impact, readiness, validation, recovery, and policy compliance.
  • Maintain quality while managing review volume, identify substantive planning gaps, and communicate actionable feedback.
Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Experience: 5-10 years of experience, including recent work reviewing changes across application and infrastructure teams in a complex enterprise environment.

Technical Skills: Hands-on ServiceNow Change Management experience, including managing review queues and documenting decisions. Familiarity with Word.

Preferred Qualifications
  • ITIL foundations V4 certification.
  • Strong judgment with the ability to evaluate the substance of a plan.
  • Concise, professional communication and confidence in addressing gaps with technical teams.
  • Ability to prioritize time-sensitive reviews, maintain consistent quality, and work independently within established policy.
  • Willingness to learn requirements and contribute to process improvements.
