Job Title: SAP PS Consultant – Carve-Out Experience

Location: Remote

Duration – Long-Term Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and support SAP Project Systems (PS) solutions in SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
• Lead SAP PS workstreams for carve-out, divestiture, merger, acquisition, demerger, and business separation projects.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP PS solutions.
• Perform system configuration, testing, defect resolution, and production support activities.
• Support data migration, master data separation, and business process transition activities.
• Develop and execute cutover plans and ensure successful go-live support.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, PMO teams, and functional consultants throughout project lifecycles.
• Manage project governance activities, risk assessments, issue tracking, and status reporting.
• Support integration activities between SAP PS and other SAP modules.
• Conduct workshops, user training sessions, UAT support, and knowledge transfer activities.
• Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, and solution design documents.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of SAP Project Systems (PS) experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Proven experience working on carve-out, divestiture, merger, acquisition, demerger, or business separation projects.
• Strong knowledge of project structures, WBS elements, networks, milestones, budgeting, planning, and settlement processes.
• Experience with data migration, business separation, and cutover planning activities.
• Strong understanding of SAP integration with:
• SAP Finance (FI/CO)
• SAP Materials Management (MM)
• SAP Sales & Distribution (SD)
• SAP Plant Maintenance (PM)
• SAP Production Planning (PP)
• Experience supporting global SAP implementations, rollouts, or transformation programs.
• Strong testing, defect management, and production support experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required Experience

• SAP PS: 8+ Years
• Carve-Out / Divestiture Projects: 2+ Years
• SAP ECC/S4HANA: 5+ Years
• Data Migration & Cutover Activities: 3+ Years
• Integration with FI/CO, MM, SD, PM, PP: Required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
• Knowledge of migration tools such as SNP CrystalBridge, SAP Migration Cockpit, or similar migration solutions.
• Experience working in manufacturing, aerospace, industrial, or engineering environments.
• SAP PS certification is preferred.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting large-scale ERP separation initiatives.
• Exposure to SAP Activate methodology.
• Understanding of enterprise data governance and master data management during carve-outs.
• Knowledge of project portfolio management (PPM) and capital project management processes.
