Summary

Position: Enterprise Architect
Employment Type: Contractor
Work Location: Remote
Rate : $65/hr

Role Focus

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in current-state discovery, architecture assessment, and rapid environment mapping across applications, infrastructure, integrations, data, and business capabilities, preferably within M&A or large-scale transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct current-state architecture discovery and assessments across complex environments.
Perform asset inventory and mapping for applications, infrastructure, integrations, and data flows.
Develop application portfolio maps, integration diagrams, and infrastructure views.
Map business processes, business capabilities, and data dependencies.
Capture application and platform cost elements to support rationalization efforts.
Assess CI/CD maturity and delivery pipelines where applicable.
Define integration architecture patterns and constraints.
Utilize LeanIX (preferred) or similar Enterprise Architecture tools to document and communicate findings.
Collaborate with engineering, business, and program teams to support integration planning and execution.

Required Skills

Proven Enterprise Architecture experience with hands-on current-state discovery and assessment.
Strong experience with LeanIX or equivalent EA tools.
Expertise in:

Application Portfolio Mapping
Infrastructure & Hosting Environments
System Integrations & Interfaces
Data Flows & Dependencies
Business Process & Capability Mapping

Ability to quickly analyze complex environments and create decision-ready architecture artifacts.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience

M&A integration or large-scale transformation programs.
Application rationalization and tenant consolidation initiatives.
DevOps / CI-CD maturity assessment experience.
