Epiq Class Action & Claims Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic software team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the reliability, performance, and accuracy of our class action software products through comprehensive manual and automated testing.

responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct software testing to identify, document, and resolve defects.
- Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and testing strategies.
- Perform Manual Smoke, Sanity, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Build, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium or Playwright.
- Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform Software Quality Assurance (SQA) activities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide testing progress updates, reports, and recommendations.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that may impact product quality.
- Create and maintain test data as needed.
- Work within Agile development methodologies and participate in Agile ceremonies.
- Foster a collaborative and productive quality assurance environment.
- Mentor and coach other QA engineers on automation testing best practices.
qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (SQA) in an Agile development framework.
Demonstrated hands-on expertise building and maintaining automated test suites using Selenium or Playwright.
Solid experience in manual testing methodologies (Smoke, Sanity, Regression, UAT).
Intermediate SQL querying skills for data validation and test data setup.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience utilizing AI coding assistants to enhance testing workflows.
Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) or similar industry certification.
Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
