This role is responsible for leading the delivery of cross-functional technology teams supporting large-scale external government programs. As the Service Delivery Manager, you will oversee Azure DevOps Engineer, Project Managers, UI/UX designers, and QA resources, ensuring delivery execution, pipeline health, and alignment between engineering teams and client stakeholders. This role requires experience working in Azure DevOps environments and delivering solutions for external, enterprise or government clients.
This role sits at the center of high-impact government delivery work, owning execution across multiple disciplines and workstreams. You'll partner directly with engineering leadership and client stakeholders while managing delivery pipelines, team performance, and operational governance. It's ideal for someone who understands modern cloud delivery environments, can speak credibly with engineers, and knows how to run structured delivery in regulated, public sector settings.
Required Skills & Experience - 7+ years of experience in service delivery, program delivery, or technical delivery management
- Proven experience delivering technology solutions for external clients
- Hands-on exposure to Azure DevOps environments and cloud-based delivery models
- Experience managing cross-functional engineering teams (DevOps, PMs, UI/UX, QA)
- Strong understanding of delivery pipelines, release coordination, and execution governance
- Ability to work directly with engineers without acting as a solutions architect
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and escalation skills
- Ability to operate independently in complex, regulated delivery environments
Desired Skills & Experience - Prior experience delivering government, public-sector, or regulated-industry projects
- Familiarity with state or federal contracting environments
- Experience supporting long-term managed services or multi-year delivery programs
- Background working with enterprise-scale cloud or digital transformation initiatives
