🔥 Key Requirement

We are looking for an Architect-level Appian professional with strong R&D, solutioning, architecture, and platform design experience.

The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge across the Appian ecosystem, including Appian Objects, RPA, AI capabilities, integrations, architecture, and migration from Appian On-Prem to Appian SaaS/Cloud.

🏗️ Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical owner of the Appian platform, including environment strategy, configuration, performance, and stability.

• Plan and execute Appian upgrades, patches, capacity scaling, and environment refreshes.

• Define and enforce architecture standards, design patterns, best practices, and governance.

• Review solution designs and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and performance requirements.

• Collaborate with business, delivery, infrastructure, information security, and external vendors.

• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for high-priority incidents.

• Support DevOps/CI-CD pipelines and modern deployment automation.

• Maintain platform documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.

✅ Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on Appian experience, including architecture and environment management.

• Strong knowledge of Appian Records, Data Fabric/CDTs, SAIL, Process Models, Integrations, Plug-ins, and RPA.

• Experience with Appian Cloud and Self-Managed/On-Prem environments.

• Proven experience with upgrades, performance tuning, and environment configuration.

• Strong understanding of Appian On-Prem → SaaS/Cloud migration.

• Experience with REST/SOAP, queues, and JDBC integration patterns.

• Knowledge of SSO, SAML/OIDC, RBAC, IAM, and platform security/hardening.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

⭐ Preferred Skills

• Appian Lead Developer Certification.

• Experience working directly with Appian Support and vendor partners.

• Financial services or other regulated-industry experience.

• Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, Splunk/ELK, AppDynamics, and monitoring tools.

• Strong understanding of Appian RPA and AI features.
