Netcool Developer with AIOps Cloud Pak at Irving, TX Onsite

Job Title: Netcool Developer – AIOps Cloud Pak Location: Irving, TX (100% Onsite) Duration: 6 Months Contract

🚀 Role Overview

We are seeking a Netcool Developer with AIOps Cloud Pak expertise to lead the integration and migration of traditional IBM Netcool Operations Insight (NOI) systems into the AI‑powered IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps platform. This role is critical in driving automation, reducing alert noise, and enabling AI/ML‑based incident prediction and resolution.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Integration & Migration: Connect Netcool OmnibImpact with Cloud Pak for AIOps; migrate event filters and runbook automation policies.

• Event & Data Management: Configure bidirectional event synchronization, data mapping, and transformation rules (JSONATA).

• Automation Development: Build automation policies/runbooks using Netcool Impact, Python, Bash.

• AI Model Enablement: Feed quality data for event grouping, anomaly detection, and change risk assessment.

• Topology & Visualization: Use AIOps topology features for unified, application‑centric infrastructure views.

• Collaboration: Work with DevOps/SRE teams to integrate Splunk, ServiceNow, Slack, and other third‑party tools.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex hybrid cloud integration issues.

🎯 Required Skills

• Deep expertise in IBM Netcool Suite (Omnibus, Impact, probes, gateways, Web GUI).

• Strong background in event management, automation, and hybrid cloud operations.

• Hands‑on experience with AIOps Cloud Pak integration and automation.

• Scripting skills (Python, Bash) and familiarity with JSONATA for data transformation.

• Knowledge of DevOps/SRE practices and third‑party tool integrations.
