Job Description
We are seeking an Application Programmer III with strong experience in Node.js, React.js, and modern web development and a proven ability to design, build, and support scalable, high-performing web platforms for next-generation risk reporting. The role is hybrid with a minimum of three days onsite per week. Start is targeted for 2-4 weeks after offer and may require alignment to a specific start date. Candidates should include current location and intent on the resume.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-quality web applications using Node.js and React.js.
- Implement responsive and interactive user interfaces.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and deliver new features.
- Maintain and improve existing codebases and services.
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with sound testing practices.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Angular, Node.js, and React developer.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js, Express.js, and RESTful API development.
- Experience with SQL, Java, and Hadoop.
- Understanding of design principles and user experience concepts.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and deliver independently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Skills:
- Full-stack software engineering across front-end and back-end services.
- Experience building in Agile or Scrum environments.
Additional Details:
- Start: ASAP. Expected start 2-4 weeks after offer, aligned to a specific business date.
- Hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days onsite per week in Charlotte, NC.
