Summary

We are seeking a PeopleTools Engineer with strong expertise in PeopleSoft pension systems to support a critical modernization initiative for a leading banking client.

The primary responsibility of this role is to analyze existing pension business logic built within PeopleSoft/PeopleTools, reverse engineer workflows and complex calculations, and translate them into detailed technical specifications for migration to a modern technology stack.

This is a highly analytical role requiring both technical depth and functional understanding of pension systems within a banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret pension-related business logic implemented in PeopleSoft/PeopleTools
Reverse engineer existing workflows, calculations, and batch processes
Document technical and functional specifications for modernization
Translate legacy PeopleTools logic into requirements suitable for a contemporary tech stack
Collaborate with business and technical teams to validate pension rules and calculations
Support data analysis and transformation efforts during migration
Ensure accuracy and compliance of pension calculations during system transition

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with PeopleTools
Deep understanding of PeopleSoft Pension modules
Experience reverse engineering legacy PeopleSoft applications
Strong knowledge of business logic documentation and technical specifications
Experience working in Banking or Financial Services environments
Ability to interpret complex calculation rules and workflows

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting modernization or system transformation projects
Exposure to cloud or modern application architectures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience working with large enterprise clients
