Key Responsibilities

Manage equipment tracking and documentation for legacy equipment removal and new equipment installation across two dedicated cages (fiber jumped between cages). Perform and oversee cross-connects and physical infrastructure changes.

Coordinate recovery, documentation, and secure destruction of decommissioned equipment.

Maintain accurate records of equipment location, status, and transition progress.

Collaborate closely with project teams, planning engineers, and stakeholders.

Ensure all activities comply with data center standards, safety protocols, and client requirements.
This long-term project offers full-time salary plus overtime pay, great benefits packages, paid vacation, sick and holiday leave. Or we can offer W2 hourly without the benefits.
Required Experience & Skills

Hands-on experience in data center operations (Equinix, DRT, or similar environments strongly preferred).

Strong working knowledge of telecom network infrastructure, fiber connectivity, and data center build/renovation processes.

Proven ability to manage complex rip-and-replace or migration projects.

Excellent customer relationship, communication, and documentation skills.

Data center lingo and operational fluency required.
