Role Overview
We are seeking a Systems Analyst to provide dedicated support for Microsoft 365 services. This role involves resolving user issues, analyzing system performance, and managing M365 tenant administration. The ideal candidate will act as an escalation point for complex technical problems and collaborate with business units to implement productivity-enhancing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide issue resolution and comprehensive support for all M365 services.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues that are not resolved by the Service Desk.
- Analyze usage, performance, and audit reports to identify trends and potential problems.
- Act as a liaison between end-users and higher-tier support teams to ensure clear communication and prompt issue resolution.
- Manage and maintain M365 security policies and compliance requirements.
- Create and maintain documentation for M365 services, policies, procedures, and system configurations.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of IT projects related to M365 services.
- Administer Microsoft 365 service offerings, including email, collaboration tools, and productivity software.
- Develop automation solutions using scripting languages like PowerShell to streamline repetitive tasks.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 3 years of experience administering M365 environments in a large organization. 3 years of experience with Microsoft 365 tools including Power Automate, Power Apps, Teams, and OneDrive. 3 years of experience implementing governance and compliance policies in a public sector or regulated environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting M365 services (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Viva). Familiarity with Active Directory, Entra ID, and PowerShell. Understanding of security best practices.
General Skills: Analytical and problem-solving abilities are required. Communication and stakeholder management skills are necessary. The role requires the ability to create technical documentation and deliver user training. Collaboration skills and experience with cross-functional IT teams are also needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Software Asset Management (SAM) tools (e.g., Snow, Flexera, ServiceNow).
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure licensing models.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and audit processes.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $40.00/hour to $50.00/hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on a candidate's qualifications and experience.
