Position Overview
Our client s Advanced Robotics Team is building and evolving a robotics ecosystem that supports a broad range of modern robotic systems across the manufacturing organization. The existing control environment has been architected around ROS 2 and EtherCAT, and the team is seeking a senior technical leader to take ownership of the architecture and day-to-day technical direction of the platform.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience architecting robotics control systems
Expert-level coding experience with ROS 2
Strong software engineering background in robotics systems
Experience maintaining and improving existing platform architecture
Experience designing and supporting perception systems using Physical AI
Ability to lead technical design efforts while remaining hands-on when needed
Experience mentoring or leading more junior engineers
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with EtherCAT in robotics or real-time control environments
Experience supporting a diverse robotics ecosystem, including humanoids, quadrupeds, AMRs, cobots, or drones
Background in manufacturing, industrial automation, or advanced robotics environments
Experience collaborating with distributed or international engineering teams

Work Environment / Additional Information
100% remote
Collaboration with an international team in Thailand; occasional late-night meetings are expected
