Summary

Job Title: Engineering Support - Prototype Build Coordinator
Location: Auburn Hills, MI

Mechanical Ability Highest Priority Candidates must have:

Prior mechanic experience (dealership or independent), or
Significant hands on automotive repair experience beyond basic maintenance (3 years of either work experience in a dealership, automotive repair, or personal experience noted on the supplier notes or cover letter)
Strong understanding of vehicle components (brakes, suspension, cradles, etc.)

Additional Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work with diverse mechanic personalities
Highly organized; able to manage multi million dollar prototype builds
Comfortable with Microsoft tools; diagnostic experience is a plus
Ability to learn Bill of Materials (BOM) processes on the job

Education:

High school diploma needed
No engineering degree required
Mechanic certifications are a plus

Licensing:

Valid driver's license required
Driving record will be checked
