Job Description
We are seeking a Data Engineer III to join our team. The role focuses on developing, evaluating, testing, and maintaining data architectures and data solutions that meet business requirements and industry practices. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in scalable data pipelines, ETL development, and data platform operations and a proven ability to deliver reliable, automated, and secure data solutions that enhance data value.
Responsibilities:
- Design, construct, install, test, and maintain scalable data management systems and pipelines.
- Ensure data systems align with business requirements, compliance needs, and standard practices.
- Design, implement, automate, and maintain large-scale enterprise ETL and data integration processes.
- Develop prototypes and proof of concepts to validate data solutions and performance approaches.
- Collaborate with data architects, data modelers, and IT teams to meet project goals.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and quality checks to ensure data reliability and integrity.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SQL and ETL tooling, with experience building and optimizing data pipelines.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and scalable data architectures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data quality and operations.
- Ability to work independently and in team settings with minimal direction.
- Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong PC skills, including Microsoft SharePoint.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
Preferred Skills:
- Process certifications such as Six Sigma, CBPP, BPM, ISO 20000, ITIL, or CMMI.
- Experience with modern data platforms or cloud data services.
