The ideal candidate will have strong experience in log analysis, observability, incident response, and Splunk and a proven ability to improve stability, resiliency, availability, and operational metrics for always-on systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform deep log analysis across ATM software, middleware, and backend systems to identify failures, anomalies, and trends.

  • Leverage centralized logging platforms such as Splunk to troubleshoot complex multi-system issues and develop proactive queries, dashboards, and alerts.

  • Define, implement, and maintain operational metrics including availability, latency, error rates, and transaction success.

  • Build dashboards, alerts, and reports that provide real-time and historical visibility into ATM health and performance.

  • Lead root cause analysis for incidents and outages, drive corrective and preventive actions, and ensure operational readiness of changes.

  • Serve as an escalation point for ATM incidents, perform rapid triage, coordinate across teams, and lead post-incident reviews.

  • Act as a senior technical authority across ATM applications, middleware, databases, and infrastructure with a focus on reliability.

  • Collaborate with operations, network, hardware, vendors, and application teams to mature observability and resiliency practices.

  • Mentor teammates and influence engineering standards related to monitoring, logging, incident response, and operational excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in log analysis and diagnostics across distributed systems.

  • Hands-on experience defining metrics, building dashboards, and implementing alerting for production systems.

  • Strong, hands-on Splunk skills for search, dashboards, alerts, and troubleshooting.

  • Self-starter who works with minimal supervision and communicates with clarity.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong SQL and relational database experience, preferably Oracle.

  • Incident triage and response leadership in regulated environments.

  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication with technical and business stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with ATM platforms or financial services environments.

  • Familiarity with CEN/XFS, device drivers, or ATM middleware frameworks.

  • Background in regulated or audit-driven operations.

  • Exposure to applied analytics or machine learning for anomaly detection, predictive analysis, or improved alerting and incident prevention.

Engagement Details:

  • Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days onsite. Onsite from day 1.

  • Target start: May or June.

  • Interview process: 2 rounds, in person and Teams.

  • Glider ID verification required.

Submission Guidance:

  • Include candidate current location and relocation plan on the resume.
