Description
We are looking for an entry-level Data Analyst to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey. In this role, you will contribute to optimizing data processes and support data-driven decision-making within the organization. You will work with diverse data sets, automate workflows, and design advanced data models to improve operational efficiency and analytics capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Collect, transform, and manage large data sets to streamline sourcing across a wide portfolio of vendors, suppliers, and products.
Standardize and cleanse data from multiple systems to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Validate and aggregate incoming raw data for integration into databases and analytical models.
Address data gaps across various domains to enhance overall data quality.
Extract data from multiple sources to support larger analytics projects and initiatives.
Promote best practices for data usage and management across the organization, including newly acquired entities.
Assist in integrating analytics models into production workflows to optimize functionality.
Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as lookups, formatting, and pivot tables.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply logic to complex challenges.
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technical applications.
Basic understanding of data analytics and management principles.
Experience with SQL for data coordination and management.
Familiarity with Power BI or Power Query is a plus.
Effective communication and organizational skills to manage data-related projects successfully.
