W''''''''re looking for a W2 resource that understands software enhancement, development, and migration activities due to a merger/acquisition.
The resource must be a hands‑on, technically astute project manager who is comfortable operating at the intersection of business operations/IT, identity and access management, security, and large‑scale system transitions. The Sr.PM must understand Identity and Access Management concepts and choices (SSO, MFA, service accounts, AD groups, conditional access, credential policies) as it relates to software enhancement / dev and app migration.
Resource must be experienced in migration and integration programs, including data, access, and application transitions, and can proactively identify dependencies, timing constraints, and operational risks.
Resource must communicate effectively with business and IT ensuring changes are clearly communicated to users, and drives readiness through documentation, training, and governance; owning the end‑to‑end execution, not just the plan.
- Energy experience in commercial business highly desired
- Experience in highly audited environment with regulated policies desired
- Experience in application migration / enhancement in Azure (NOT AWS)
- 5-10 years experience in leading application projects / programs
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification desired
- CSM or SAFe certification preferred but experience running scrum meetings and ceremonies required
- Experience running application projects/programs with C, C++, UNIX, SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, Python, Azure Synpase, Snowflake, Oracle, and/or Power BI
- Azure DevOps (ADO experience required
- ITBM or SPM project management experience in ServiceNow desired
- Core focus in application project/program management with a background in platform technology, and/or technology management
- Passionate about client engagement and creating demonstrable value for clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent collaboration and skilled at leading teams through complex engagements
- Organized and methodical; strong prioritization and multi-tasking skills
