The Release Manager oversees planning, coordination, and execution of software releases across the organization. This role ensures releases are delivered efficiently, with minimal risk, and in alignment with enterprise change management, governance, and operational readiness standards.

The selected candidates will:

Own the enterprise release schedule across all supported applications and platforms.

Coordinate activities between development, QA, product owners, vendors, and infrastructure teams.

Oversee release documentation, checklists, and readiness reviews.

Facilitate go/no-go meetings and ensure all release criteria are met.

Communicate release status, risks, dependencies, and impacts to stakeholders.

Maintain release process standards, including versioning, deployment plans, rollback strategies, and approvals.

Partner with ITSM teams to align releases with change management policies.

Ensure post-release validation and coordinate with support teams for smooth handoff.

Track release metrics and support continuous improvements to the release pipeline.

Support emergency releases, coordinating expedited approvals and communication.

Preferences:

Experience coordinating release cycles across development, QA, and infrastructure teams.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and environment coordination.

Experience validating release readiness and conducting go/no-go reviews. Experience maintaining runbooks, implementation plans, and release notes.

Experience managing release risks, dependencies, and communication.

Experience troubleshooting build or deployment failures.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology related field and eight (8) years of experience; or any combination of progressive experience (above high school level) equivalent to eight (8) years in fields utilizing the knowledge, skills, and abilities associated with positions such as Quality Assurance Manager, DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, Release Train Engineer, Systems Engineer, and Systems Analyst.
