Role: AVP Sales with Data Analytics & AI

ROLE SUMMARY
The AVP Sales (Data, Analytics, Integration & AI) will own revenue growth, client
acquisition, and portfolio expansion for the Hitech clients.
This is a high visibility, quota carrying executive role responsible for leading enterprise
consultative sales across Data Modernization, Data Engineering, Analytics, API-led Integration,
AI/ML, and Generative AI platforms.
You will work closely with industry leaders, Chief Data Officers, CIOs, CMOs, Digital & AI
executives to position Persistent as a strategic partner for data-driven transformation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- 1. Sales Strategy & Revenue Ownership
Develop and execute a multiyear GTM plan to grow Data, Analytics, Integration & AI
business within the Hitech vertical targeting client like Google and Meta.
Drive new logo acquisition, expansion of existing accounts, and consistently achieve
revenue, margin, and pipeline targets.
Align sales strategy with Persistent enterprise data & AI portfolio offerings, including
Data Strategy, Data Engineering, MDM, API-led integration, BI modernization,
Advanced Analytics, ML Ops, and GenAI solutions.
Build and manage a predictable pipeline, enabling accurate quarterly forecasting.
- 2. Enterprise Consultative Selling
Lead highvalue digital transformation pursuits across cloud data modernization, customer
analytics, data monetization, AIdriven automation, and LLM/GenAIdriven use cases.
Translate Hitech industry challenges into differentiated data & AIled value propositions.
Host Csuite conversations focusing on business value, data-driven transformation, and
AIenabled operating models.
- Customer & Industry Leadership
Establish executivelevel relationships across Hitech Industry
Act as the face of Persistent at industry forums, events, roundtables, and strategy
sessions.
Provide insights on Hitechspecific trends: personalization, content analytics, network
intelligence, customer experience optimization, monetization models, and AIpowered
automation.
- Deal Leadership & Solution Orchestration
Lead complex, multiservice, multitower deals by orchestrating Data Architects, AI/ML
SMEs, Integration experts, Solutioning teams, and Pricing.
Shape proposals leveraging Persistent accelerators
Ensure solutions are aligned with client digital roadmaps and measurable ROI.
- Alliance, Partner & Ecosystem Collaboration
Collaborate with hyperscalers (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform), Snowflake, Databricks, MuleSoft, and
AI platform vendors to build joint GTM motions.
Partner with marketing on demand generation, events, and thought leadership.
- Internal Leadership & Governance
Contribute to annual business planning, portfolio investment decisions, and market
intelligence reports.
Mentor sales managers, solution consultants, and pursuit teams.
Uphold disciplined sales cadences, CRM hygiene, and internal governance standards.
QUALIFICATIONS Required
12 18 years of sales leadership experience in Data, Analytics, Integration, AI/ML
within IT services or consulting firms.
Proven success selling to the Hitech industry, managing large deals with annual revenue
portfolios.
Strong understanding of:
o Enterprise Data Architecture & Cloud Data Platforms
o API-led & Event-driven integration
o Advanced analytics & ML/AI models
o GenAI, LLMOps, AI governance & AI transformation programs
Demonstrated ability to lead complex consultative sales cycles across Fortune 1000
organizations.
Preferred
Prior experience working with hyperscaler ecosystems or modern data platforms.
Exposure to agentic AI systems, AI-infused workflows, or next-gen customer experience
solutions.
MBA or equivalent is a plus.
