Job Description –

We're looking for a Pre-Sales Intern who will help us win new healthcare and life sciences business. You'll work directly with the pre-sales lead on live deals: drafting proposals, researching client industries, and building joint offerings with our technology partners. Morristown sits in the middle of New Jersey's pharma and life sciences corridor, and many of the clients we pursue are nearby. You'll see how enterprise technology deals are shaped, from the first RFP read through to the final pitch.

 

Key responsibilities

 

Proposals and RFP responses

 

• Break down RFPs and RFIs into requirements, deadlines and evaluation criteria, and build a response plan

• Draft proposal sections: executive summaries, solution overviews, delivery approach, case studies and team profiles

• Build proposal slides and one-pagers that follow Client brand standards

• Gather inputs from delivery, solution architects and finance, and track open items to the deadline

• Maintain a reusable library of proposal content, case studies and past responses Industry perspective

• Research target accounts: strategy, recent news, earnings, technology initiatives and likely pain points

• Track trends across payers, providers, pharma and medtech, such as AI adoption, interoperability, value-based care and regulatory change

• Write short point-of-view briefs and account profiles that sharpen our pitches

• Summarize competitor offerings and pricing signals to help position our solutions Joint propositions

• Work with technology partners (cloud, data and platform providers) to shape joint go-to-market offerings

• Map partner capabilities to Client services and to specific client problems

• Draft joint solution briefs, battle cards, pitch decks and co-marketing material

• Help prepare for partner meetings, workshops and joint client pitches Sales support

• Prepare meeting briefs and demo materials before client calls

• Keep CRM records and the pre-sales pipeline tracker up to date .

 

Qualifications

 

Required

 

• Currently pursuing, or recently finished, an MBA or a master's or bachelor's degree in business, healthcare management, life sciences, information systems or a related field

• Strong business writing: you can turn scattered inputs into a clear, persuasive document

• Advanced PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills

• Comfortable researching companies and markets from public sources such as annual reports, analyst notes and industry publications

• Organized under deadlines, and able to juggle several proposals at once

• Able to work on site in Morristown, NJ, part of the week

 

 

Preferred

• Coursework, internships or work experience in healthcare, pharma, life sciences or technology consulting

• Familiarity with digital and data topics such as cloud, analytics, AI or interoperability standards (for example FHIR)

• Exposure to RFP responses, bid management or strategy consulting

• Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot

• Curiosity about how technology partnerships and alliances create value
